Bronny James Scores First NBA Points in Cleveland Homecoming

Los Angeles Lakers rookie Bronny James scored his first NBA points Wednesday night during a 134-110 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.

The 19-year-old guard entered the game in the fourth quarter, making his mark with a memorable basket. James drove from the left side of the court, executed a crossover move, and sank a shot from the corner.

Cleveland fans erupted in cheers for the young James, showing their enduring support for the James family legacy. The city maintains strong ties to Bronny’s father, LeBron James, who led the Cavaliers to a championship during his tenure with the team.

This marked Bronny’s second NBA appearance of his career. While he shared the court with his father in his debut game, he is expected to spend most of the season developing in the G League.

The Cavaliers dominated the game, extending their perfect start to the season with a 5-0 record. Evan Mobley led Cleveland’s scoring with 25 points and five rebounds.

Donovan Mitchell contributed significantly to the Cavaliers’ victory, scoring 24 points and shooting 4-for-4 from three-point range. He added seven assists and three steals to his performance.

Jarrett Allen posted a double-double for Cleveland, recording 20 points and 17 rebounds.

The loss dropped the Lakers to a 3-2 record for the season.
